About Yoga

Yoga is a time tested method for balancing and increasing prana. Originating in India over 5,000 years ago, Yoga is suitable for all ages and conditions! My many years of teaching and personal practice are based on working with prana – not on flexibility. From the rhythmic movement of Yoga postures and the use of diaphragmatic/deep breathing … the prana balances … and wonderful “side effects” like flexibility, better health, and a quiet mind, arrive spontaneously.

I choose to teach the breadth & depth of Yoga, including the physical practices of postures (asana), breathing techniques (pranayama), and meditation (dharana and dyana). I am exploring Yoga since 1999 and am trained in the Kripalu Yoga lineage at the 500 hour level  and have offered over 2,000 hours of classroom teaching (E-RYT500).  I have assisted several teacher training programs in Philadelphia and in the Allentown area.
